What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the club and connect you with other members:

• Your name and email address, so we can sign you in and reach you.
• The profile details you choose to enter, such as your photo, your town, your interests, and a few words about yourself.
• Your membership and payment status, so we know whether your membership is active.
• Records of the mixers you sign up for and the messages you send to other members, so the club works the way you expect.

How we use it

We use your information to run the club, host our in person mixers, connect you with other members in the directory, and send you email about your membership and our concierge services. That is the whole of it. We do not use your details for anything unrelated to being a member here.

Who helps us process it

A few trusted services help us operate. They handle your information only so that Golden Circle can work:

• Neon hosts our database, where your profile and membership details are stored.
• Stripe processes your payment. Your card is entered directly with Stripe, so we never see or store your card number.
• Resend delivers our email, such as your sign in links and service messages.

The sign in cookie

When you sign in, we place a small session cookie in your browser so you stay signed in and do not have to enter your details on every page. It is used to keep your account secure, and nothing more.

How we count visits

To learn which pages are helpful and how often things like mixer reservations happen, we keep simple, anonymous counts — how many, never who. This counting uses no cookies, is never tied to your name, your profile, or your messages, and never follows you to other websites. It is done by Vercel, the service that hosts our website, on our own address — no advertising or tracking company is involved, and nothing about it is sold or shared.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell member data, and we never will. Your information is here to serve you as a member, not to be traded to anyone else.

Your controls

You are in charge of your information here:

• Edit or hide your profile at any time from your profile page, so you decide what other members can see.
• Set your email preferences so you hear from us only as you wish.
• Block another member if you would rather not hear from them.
• Download a copy of the information we hold about you — your profile, your messages, your mixer reservations, and more — at any time, from your profile page. It saves to your device as a single file that is yours to keep.
• Close your account whenever you like, right from your profile page. Closing your account permanently removes your profile and your information from Golden Circle, and cancels any active membership at the end of the period you have paid for.
