Golden Circle is a warm, welcoming place to make friends, find activity partners, and perhaps meet someone special. Almost everyone here is kind and genuine, but a little care goes a long way. Here is how to look out for yourself.

A few simple ways to protect yourself
- Never send money, gift cards, or wire transfers to someone you have not met in person, no matter the reason they give.
- Be cautious of anyone who quickly professes strong feelings, or who wants to move the conversation off Golden Circle to text or email.
- Never share your bank details, Social Security number, or passwords with another member.
- If someone pressures or rushes you, use the Report button. Real members are patient and will never make you feel unsafe.
When in doubt, take your time and trust your instincts. A genuine friend will always understand.
We do our part, too. Every member can earn a Verified badge that a real person reviews — verified members lead the directory — and every profile has a Report button so you can flag anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
