Terms of Membership

Who can join

Golden Circle is a membership club for adults 55 and over. By joining, you confirm that you are 55 or older.

Membership and billing

Membership is 29 dollars a month, billed through Stripe. There is no contract and no long term commitment. It is month to month, and you can cancel anytime. When you cancel, your membership stays active through the end of the month you have already paid for, and it will not renew after that.

How we expect members to behave

The whole club rests on one idea: be kind. We ask every member to treat others with warmth and respect.

• No harassment, and no unwanted or repeated contact.
• No scams, no requests for money, and no attempts to take advantage of another member.
• Be honest about who you are.

If a member breaks these rules, we may hide their profile or remove them from the club to keep everyone safe. For more on looking out for yourself, please read our safety guidance.

Mixers and waitlists

Our in person mixers have a set number of spots. When an event is full, you can join the waitlist, and we will let you know if a place opens up. We do our best to make room for everyone over time.

What we can and cannot promise

Golden Circle helps you meet people. We host the mixers, run the directory, and give you ways to connect. What we cannot do is guarantee an outcome. We cannot promise you will make a particular friend, find an activity partner, or meet someone special. That part is up to you and the people you meet.

Limitation of liability

We work hard to run Golden Circle well, but we provide the club as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the actions of other members, or for outcomes that are outside our control. Your good judgment matters, both online and in person.

Changes to these terms

From time to time we may update these terms, for example as the club grows or the rules need to be clearer. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep your membership after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
